Our aim is to make contemporary art accessible and interesting to a wide range of audiences. Schools, tertiary and community groups, as well as the general public can participate in a range of activities linked to exhibitions and involving contemporary art, artists and ideas.

Bookings are required for both guided and self-guided School and Tertiary groups.

ACCA’s education program provides:


FREE guided tours and philosophy and art making workshops for Primary and Secondary students.

FREE education resources including primary, secondary and VCE exhibition kits, video and sound files.

FREE teacher preview evenings

FREE bus travel
Get a free bus to ACCA for your students. Contact ACCA education to check if your school is eligible. You will need to be a government school situated within 45 minutes travel time to Southbank to be considered. Buses are subject to availability and are available for trips to and from ACCA only. This excludes enabling visits to other venues.
