The Post Project - Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) | The Post Project
| |
| Hannah Mathews and Caterina Riva invited 10 fellow curators, living and working around the globe, to select and invite 47 international artists to take part in the Post project.
The participating artists were given instructions to make and post a two-dimensional work to ACCA by airmail. Each work received will be displayed on a designated date on a poster board (Kiosk 2005/11) designed by Canadian artist, Derek Sullivan.
This arbitrary assemblage will generate a new constellation of fragments, oblivious to categories of artistic media or historical lineages and generational or geographical boundaries. Over the 47 days of the exhibition, Kiosk will bear witness to an accumulation of display and reflect on the scope of conceptual strategies in the year 2011.
