Formed in 2008 in a car whilst shouting bratty rhymes at each other, Super Wild Horses is a two-piece gang including Amy Franz and Hayley McKee. After a spree of gigs with various underground luminaries such as Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Quintron & Miss Pussycat (US), Deaf Wish and proto-slop kings UV Race, AARGHT! Records released Super Wild Horses eponymous 7-inch EP in March 2009. Evoking Phil Spector & The Ronettes on a budget in a No Wave tin shed, songs are stripped to the very backbone and clad in distorted call and response Fall-esque yelps, cavernous big beats and primal twangs.
