A major survey of work by acclaimed British artist Richard Billingham, whose real-life photos of his family became a notorious part of the 1997 Saatchi exhibition Sensation. Billingham was a short listed artist for the 2001 Turner Prize. This exhibition includes a selection of previously unexhibited early photographs of father Ray, as well as key works from the series, Ray’s a Laugh, the Black Country series, early video works including Fishtank, commissioned by ArtAngel, and Billingham’s most recent series of videos and photographs of animals in captivity, ZOO
